Duffy burns down the house

Once upon a time Duffy wanted to make toast. He said “I’m hungry” and went to the fridge to get some bread. There he looked there but there was no bread. He looked in the freezer but there was no bread. He looked in the cabinet but there was no bread. He said to his mom,

Mom where’s the bread?

Look in the bread box dear.

Duffy looked in the bread box and there was the bread. Why didn’t I look there first? He said to himself. He took out a slice and put it in the toaster oven. He set the dial for 3 minutes because he didn’t like crispy toast, just light toast. Then he got his phone and started playing a game. When he looked up again there was a fire coming from the toaster.

Yipes!!!!! Duffy grabbed a magazine and tried to put the fire out but the magazine started on fire. Oh My God!!!! He threw the magazine on the couch and it started burning. Duffy grabbed the extinguisher to put the fire out but it was the hairspray which only made the fire bigger.

Run mommy!

Duffy what did you do?

Duffy and mommy ran out the room and called the fire department. When the fire was out Duffy, his mommy and his daddy came back into the apartment. They looked at everything covered in ash and water. 

What are we going to do now?

Duffy went to the toaster and saw that his bread was done so he ate it.
